Now, new CFLs for old bulbs-Pune-Cities-The Times of India: "Amidst the ongoing power crisis in the state, here comes a ray of good news for the residents of Pune and Thane — they’ll get energy-saving compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) free of cost. A statement released by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) on Friday said the power utility had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Osram India Pvt. Ltd. under which the company will provide CFL lamps free of cost to households in Pune and Thane."
