Testing on Linear Fluorescents Prepares PureSpectrum, Inc. for Product Launch

Testing on Linear Fluorescents Prepares PureSpectrum, Inc. for Product Launch Linear fluorescent lighting continued its pattern of steady growth during the past few years to account for more than $400 million in sales in 2006, and PureSpectrum, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PSPM) is taking another important step toward introducing its innovative ballast design to this rapidly expanding market segment.

Since 2003, sales of T5 fluorescent lamps have climbed from 10 million units to 21.5 million units and sales of T8 lamps have increased from 172 million to 234 million. Last week PureSpectrum commissioned independent testing on a patented flicker-free, energy efficient T4 lamp powered by the company's proprietary circuitry technology which could represent a major breakthrough for manufacturers of linear fluorescent products.

Linear fluorescent lamps are the thin, tubular lights which illuminate schools, office buildings, retail stores and most other commercial and industrial settings. The bulbs are manufactured in many different sizes and wattages to fit a variety of uses for these multipurpose products which range from small under-cabinet lights in residential settings to clusters of overhead lighting in commercial or industrial settings.
