I am P.......k, and I live in SouthEast Europe.
I have been looking into the CFL approach all evening and found some answers here, since I am into energy efficiency/low cost to set/lower energy bills/low temp & saving the planet altogether.
I have not much experience in growing, I have had 2 tries in the past but stopped due to risk issues. Now I find myself in a better place to green-on and started setting up the rig.
I have in my possession a whole closet (125cm x 60cm x 145cm) and a shorter one over that (140cm x 60cm x 110cm) for vegetative (tiny sog maybe).
For the tiny sog I will be having two fluo tubes, 36w each, one warm & one cool.
For the flowering compartment, I will be using 4x23W CFLs as soon as I get them in hand.
I will be probably rigging into that a survival blanket with the silver side facing the plants as it has great reflection and keeps the temp down. PC fans will be integrated as well, hopefully I will find a cool way to set them up, a couple of non-electric dehumidifiers depending of what my new hygrometer will advise, and lastly, a huge bump in cost will be buying an ionizer (that machine that filters the air from smells). -Edit Forgot to mention the fan!!!
To sum up, I am estimating a wattage of 92Kw or 138 for flower (2-3 Power Plants),72W for veg (3-4 plants max), 65Kw for extras.
Thoughts/comments/guidance will be highly appreciated!
