West Bengal State, India Switching to CFL « Change a light bulb and change the world: "The state of West Bengal in India is switching to CFLs by 2012 to conserve energy. When the switch is made they plan on saving 200 megawatts of power each year. Switching to CFLs should allow the state of West Bengal to register this program with United Nations Framework for Convention on Climate Change as an offset program."
